A proper, like, really clean one, is one that my mate Jono and I searched for months to find for him. He's has it near ten years now, and in that time has given it new rubbers, new side glass etc, little bits and pieces that are pretty expensive but really "de-age" these cars. This was a tidy car before, a bit of an un-polished car, but had the goods. The sills and jack points are the very straightest I've seen on a 32, and it has some really nice subtle, high quality mods. It's a keeper, and one I'd really love in my own garage if it wasn't already full.
He's just started to get the pressure from the wife to thin his collection, and I reckon his car is worth $28k all day, despite it not being a V-Spec or an N1, just an '89 - but it's a ripper.
Wish i had some more pics of it.
He's so anal he's actually got 17" BBS LM on it now instead of the 18" LM's because they do actually drive and handle nicer on a 17x9 wheel.

Unlikely. Nissan simply built too many. That said, finding good ones is getting much harder. And those good cars will obviously be worth more money, long term.

An N1 miiiiight creep over that. They are really quite rare. V-Spec though, nah.

I sold an absolute ripper and real R32 N1 back in 2002 for $45k. That's when a normal 32 in similar condition was $30k-$35k. I dare say that same N1 would be worth at least that now. Pushing shit up hill to get that for a normal R32 GTR these days.

Interesting as my mate with the genuine, well looked after ADM R32 thought it was worth high 20s.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay, and the fact is, the shitty ones sell faster cause flat brims wouldn't pay 26k for a stock car. When I checked in June 2013 a grade 4 VS2 was 35+. That's a car you invest in. Like it or lump it, an 89 GTR is not a unique car. Collectors and fussy people will want the V Spec. I know I will.

The number of fuckwits claiming their ( insert pretty much any car over ten years old ) has genuine kilometers on it beggars belief.

This - went for a look at a 32 with a mate on Sat - owner claiming 128 000km genuine... with a label in the engine bay for a belt change at 197.... are you fucking kidding me.
