Car made 175awkw. And weighs about 1250 depending on fuel level - no driver. Wouldn't be hard for The Lightyear to take 150kg off if it was just a sprint car.

Just so The Lightyear knows the facts and does not come across like a dick, the 75db rule is PIARC's, is stated in the sup-regs, is policed by a PIARC rep and the (insert any) Club can do nothing to change it.Originally posted by lightyear View PostJust because the WRX club have some rule that The Lightyear has never seen...
I do not require The Lightyear to thank me for supplying this information.VB Commo Lap Times - Winton 1:35.47 / Sandown 1:24.43 / Calder 1:05.74 / Phillip Island 1:49.0032 / Haunted Hills 1:00.30 / Bathurst 2:39:52
I agree with whatever Mark Webber just said.

Maybe The Lightyear didn't explain it properly. The WRX club has a rule if you exceed the track noise limit on the day you get disqualified from there Motorsport sprint championship for that session.NA8B 89KW- P.I. 1:50.1, WNTN1:38.0, SDWN 1:27.6, WKFLD 1:10.4

Yep. Better put another muffler on for nxt time just in case. A few guys went home pretty early due to getting done for noise in the first and 2nd sessions. At least the 2nd session was under.NA8B 89KW- P.I. 1:50.1, WNTN1:38.0, SDWN 1:27.6, WKFLD 1:10.4

Last session would have been the quickest. Pity nobody got the chance.
No changes were made to the car from Winton. Just drove it smoother. Getting used to driving it like a WRX, instead of an MX5. In saying that. The Lightyear has always found Phillip Island a better track to drive on. Winton is a struggle to get the most out of, with its slow corners.NA8B 89KW- P.I. 1:50.1, WNTN1:38.0, SDWN 1:27.6, WKFLD 1:10.4

makes sense, the slow in fast out thing isnt needed much at a fast flowing circuit like PI. I had big issues with understeer when I went to Mallala in an Evo for the first time. much like your winton video.Originally posted by lightyear View PostLast session would have been the quickest. Brendan chose to upload that video for a laugh more than anything. There are tidy laps from Winton. But your right, Phillip Island is more a commitment track. It flows really well.NA8B 89KW- P.I. 1:50.1, WNTN1:38.0, SDWN 1:27.6, WKFLD 1:10.4

First time I ever drove a WRX at Winton (while being an instructor on a training day) I understeered it off the outside of turn 2 (the old turn 2 at bottom of the hill) :D Fuck they are pigs.
