I don't understand the obsession with lap times. Unless the car conforms to some sort of rule book and there were other blokes in simular cars there on the same day, they don't mean shit.

No, and I didn't say that. However Lightyear seems to think that a laptime is the last word when comparing himself to other cars and drivers. A bit futile when tyres and track conditions could account for a 4 sec difference at PI.Comment

The Lightyear was also in the MX5 championship. Broke every lap record in the club The Lightyear entered. Just saying. That is with equal cars, and well policed rules.
