Honestly not sure. It was used in a movie called Elysium which had a fairly decent size budget. Could be a mock up type thing like the cars they wrecked in the need for speed movie. But those were all million dollar plus cars, I think you can get a fucked old gtr in the US for under $50k pretty easily. I doubt they started with a mint condition example.

yeah they did, read a article on it ages ago. i guess with a 50 million dollar budget for a movie its given about as much thought as ordering a coffee.
