That Lancer is from a time and place where it was just about posing. Didn't matter if it wasn't fast, just as long as you could put an intercooler on it for auto salon.
Remember mr crx putting intercooler on non turboed cars and putting a fiberglass panel over the engine so you couldn't tell.
