      I want to buy an RS now. Seeing things like factory ducting on the brakes is impressive. Can these things be locked out to 100% RWD for extended periods?

        You can side step the clutch in launch control and they'll warrant them. Engineered to do it.

        This wasn't a paid gig, we've been stinging to get inside a factory and work on a car since forever and ford came to the party which was rad, and in Germany no less.

        You can send almost 100% rearwards, that's drift mode, there's plenty of nerdy vids out there about it. Ours is still on a boat but looking forward to driving it on home soil.

            Lol. My Bosses are a Persian Ba'Hai couple who arrived in Aus as refugees in the early 90s. They were tossing up between having a tilt at Aus or Germany and had some rellies in Germany. When I asked the husband why he chose Aus, he said part of the reason is when they asked the German rellies they said don't. Everyone just works too hard and it's all anyone talks or thinks about!

                              I'm not surprised by what the engineers say and the seriousness within the factory. It's not uncommon to find them counting the clock coz of the takt time they are under within each workstation day in day out.

                              I'm surprised that they did work on the car separately on a separate line like they did for the TRD/Prodrive setup they had on Australia (inherited product that landed on my lap post setup). But unlike Ford, they recycled donor parts and not threw them in the bin like the Aurion and Hilux.
