Still working that out, a few discussions to be had about warranty first i think.. all going well it will be big boost and bits to cope with it.

Solid Ep gents, enjoyed that a lot. Just out of curiosity, did you do any measurements to make sure that the awd drivetrain would fit under the stock section of the floor? Seems like it will be a snug fit.

When I was out at the Man Shed Show in Sydey about 4 weeks ago - they had an awesome portable hoist that was rated to 2 or 2.5 tonnes.

Looked pretty good and folded up to bugger all...

My mate is getting one for his place - so will ask him the name if you are interested...

Hoist is definately worth it imo, even if it takes up considerable space. Working on your back underneath 1.5 tonnes of steel isn't exactly motivation inspiring.

for me the planning guys were ok - unfortunately mine then was too close to power lines - so that was expensive, but actual shed guys didn't want to have anything to do with the approval process - too hard 'just throw it up' - so we did it ourselves - kinda sucked because they now expect everyone talking to them to know exactly what they are on about (eg professionals) but got there eventually.
