New MCM series - 11sec subaru build. Bald PFer content.
Rake's a champ.. helped us on lots of builds and came to japan and NZ and stuff... represented Australia in Japan, smashed the beers hard and some dudes japanese girlfriend pretty much fell in love with him on the spot. Respect.
Might want to go back a few posts to where I suggested a USM lens. Or even include my whole post where I mention an L series (usm focusing) lens. Thanks for your help though. And Marty was using an external Mic.
Got L series, its a bit dark though to get decent zoom. Lens is a Sigma 2.8. Workshops are DARK. Even with overhead lighting and LED panels, still hard to get decent shots and the in engine bay shots are still pretty grainy - but overall pretty happy with them. I'll definitely get a lens with a stepper motor as soon as they make one that isn't 3.5-5.6... too dark for workshops!
Thanks for being so candid on here Bro. I'm a big fan of your approach and how you craft your stuff to your audience.
How long till you can do this and not have normal jobs? Can you vaguely say what a million views is worth financially to you? I know lots of us business type people are fascinated by that aspect.

I have a question about the diff pinion flange swap please. It looked like you just undid the flange with a rattle and put it straight on the other diff again with a rattle gun.
Do you need to put a new crush sleeve in, or measure the pinion depth/pinion preload etc.? Or is that just the whole internet torque setting debate all over again? I.E. Can you get away by just making it tight?
Million people into stickerbombing and wheel spacers watching a 12 sec car being chopped all day? My negro friend, please.

If your planing to drive this on the road and enjoy it, id suggest a second opinion, someone with a history in Australian Rally or Fink River . If your just playing dyno comps. Then ok
