There really isn't anything special performance-wise about EZ36s. Equivalent toyota/Nissan 6's have them covered.
But, for Subaru builds or where low engine height and relatively low weight are factors they become an option.

Also because flat 6 = Porsche, right?

The reason the thought occurred to me was the bolt in part. IIRC the donk/box/driveshaft setup all bolted in straight in? it also wouldnt need brembos without a turbo.

Pay $1000 for a decent donor car plus whatever all the other bits. Mechanically it seemed the turbo install was the only part which couldnt be done at home.

yeah imo he said, turbo shit technically is hard and skilled, but can be done at home with time, patience and basic tools, you just need to put in the effort.

right sure, but for the truly lazy car guys the bottom line is the EZ36 and 6 spd gbox/diff bolt in so no fab required. that was my point.

i think fly is talking about just dropping the EZ36 in and leaving it stock, since it was designed to lug around a big tribeca it would still be okay n/a to pull around a lib
