That's cause most Jap S30's are powered by the 2 litre L20 to get around the capacity based taxes at the time.

Good times, 10 years flies still remember watching the first one thinking these guys, what are the thinking/doing are they serious? then watching the next few and knowing lots of it was piss take just made the vids much better.

Forgot about the make a wish stuff, kudos to you guys for doing that mucho respect to be able to give back to people like that and giving up your time to do so.

current owner of march super turbo won't sell it back to me, has been sitting for years apparently

loving all the suggestions for what to do to it, lots of them mental, most of them silly - it keeps me coming back.

car is stuck is asbestos limbo but we're working through it, would have been here already otherwise.

Really happy with the video and the response has been great, another 10 years would be great... i just hope there's some rotaries left.

The asbestos thing sucks! Maybe you can turn it into a positive by creating some MCM content about the situation? Like the all the shit the little guy needs to go thru to get a car in. I'm guessing you are going to start learning alot about it all, maybe as well share the pitfalls and what you'd do next time etc etc.

Please keep it L series, preferably a full on L28 with all the bits.

Would love to hear/watch what faffing around is required to clear the car of asbestos. I'd love to import an old Japanese car but with the added headache might not be worth it in my situation.

I was surprised you guys coughed up the coin for it - they are expensive in Japan, even when compared to local Aus cars.

The old L6's are great - just not the L20a...
However they are now expensive to get decent power figures out of, as even the latest injected L24's & L28's are 30+ years old
& generally EVERYTHING needed to be replaced in them.
A genuine 300hp L28 is 15k from builders like SWM, MIA & LCR.
