What is the width on them? Any chance under 42 cm or less?

Those repo seats do look nice, would be worth throwing them in it. Could keep the old stock ones and put some wheels on them and use them around the workshop, and put them back in if you go down returning the car to stock route.

This is another option which is a little wider in the hips.
I've got a couple (over night from jah-pan) and they fit me pretty well for a 38 waist.

                48cm at the widest point.

They are an exact reproduction of the original Nissan Sports seats you could option on your Hakosuka or Zed.

Pretty sure Marty doesn't want ski boat seats from 1972 in his car.

For some reason the old bloke that restored mine went the effort of getting seat done, but kept the inner in fabric, when the factory ones where all vinyl. My seats are in perfect condition, like new, but just not black vinyl. I lust after 70s vinyl. I guess I could get mine redone, I just buy fitted vinyl covers for them.

And you reply "funny you would mention that and pop the bonnet revealing the RB26" then both have a chuckle and nod and wink and each other.

Then sell the shitty old vinyl seats. It's the right thing to do.
You actually and actively WANT to draw attention to yourself, or have random fuckwits start convesations?

I can't think of a worse possible scenario in my life that doesn't involve a crocodile, than having random knobjockey car people talk to me about cars. Especially if they know anything about old dattos and would question you about seats. That is textbook the exact kind of person I avoid at all costs. Closely followed by old alfa and triumph people.

Coming from the guy that would take any and every opportunity to rubbish the BRZ/86 "build quality" (it's a cheap RWD car FFS) and that's why "I sold it because I didn't meet my high expectations of a 90's Liberty" (which is a totally different car at a totally different price point).
