So a few nights ago I was watching the Datto efi ep in bed when the Mrs asks "is this that show skid marks, I don't like it as much as might car mods". I lol'ed.

I think I mentioned this at the Xmas party but my electrician neighbour is a mad electric and modified car guy. He's always pulling Tesla's and volts apart. I convinced him to take his electric miev van to the all Jap day and he parked it next to the Nissan cubes and was swamped with people keen.

He was speakimg with one of the other pf electronic engineers at beer o'clock about how best to build a plug in fettle box, as most of these factory motors are significantly detuned and unlocking the extra power is a technical rather than a physical challenge.

Eg the miev van has an inhibitor to keep it at 25kw, whereas the sedan is rated at 50kw but the batteries and motors are all the same. Probably do it won't tip over.

A miev vs Daihatsu Kei car race is still a cool thing I reckon. All nuggets though...

Similar thing I did on a friends RS3. Took longer to go to the bolt shop and buy better hardware than doing the rest of it.
