Looked into this myself a bit cause I agree It would be faster in most situations we’ll use it in, with more response. That said, isn’t it why they went twins in the first place? Im not sure a smaller turbo would magically fix it. Smaller rear housing would be step in the right direction cause means we don’t have to throw away all Al’s mint fab work.Originally posted by tim510 View PostI love the 240, but the turbo is about 2 sizes too big. To put it in perspective, it's 100cc more than the EJ25 in the STI's since '06 - and nobody considers those a 'big' engine by any stretch.
