You're correct about supergramps being hicomp etc. I didn't have to work very hard to stay at pace with the 240. The biggest reason i believe for that is actually a lack of rubber on those 15's (its on 205's) and the alignment is also up the balls and needs to be redone. It should stick WAY better than it currently does. The power band would definitely be less of a thing to someone who's happy to point their expensive car at a wall, you're right about that being a factor too. I drove both, in current config it doesn't stomp supergramps like it should, but it will.
I was over @ MRC in Castle Hill picking up a car, Mark was showing me some dyno sheets of a Skyline he finished tuning. Had a fancy twin scroll EFR Borg Warner on it. It was making something spastic like 500kw, forget the exact figures but it was making stupid amounts of boost at fairly low revs too (for memory it was running E85). Maybe it just needs a Borg?

edit: Found a link of the car here (red engine bay) - https://www.facebook.com/MRCDynoServ...type=3&theater

Sorry if it was covered, but what's the reasoning behind splitting the feed to both ends of the rail?

Use less fittings and getting more fuel in.

Liked the music, good job Woody the wicked junglist. Now know more about fittings and stuff too.

                I think I've met Herbert.

                  Isn't it more fittings?
And it's the same fuel feed just split, so should be same fuel volume?

Some constructive? Criticism. Rather than camera being over Al's shoulder while he makes his mud maps nutting things out. Maybe do that off camera and then re do it for camera on a white commodore bonnet and texta as a presentation.

The cutting of braided hoses with a grinder seems a hell of a lot better than the Team Boosted boys cutting them with a tile chisel.

Using a grinder is shit, you spend ages flushing all the shit out of the hose. The hose shears work best.

Sorry I meant as in less fittings using the split straight out of the pump rather than having hose from the pump to the splitter then another fitting and then up to the rail (Al mentioned 4 more fittings that way). Was mentioned in the last vid or the one before that re: dual entry to the rail and vaguely recall it being to do with even fuel pressure across the rail (so yes not so much MORE fuel but better distribution)

It's a ring main, makes sense if you can do it.

It takes about 30 seconds to shoot some brake clean in there and blow it out with the air line?

The 30 seconds you save with sheers is wasted swearing attempting to get the olive and hose end into a squashed bit of Teflon line.

I don't use a grinder on teflon hose, only on 100 series.
