Dont change anything. Mcm builds seem to be geared a little more basic and overviewy, where skid factory is for those that want shit more indepth.

Both are really good for their respective audiences.

This. We have lots of mums and girlfriends who want to sit through Mcm vids, we can see it from the start. we often dial it back to basics so that if you know zero you can still follow along. I dare say you learn a shitload more from skid factory if you already have some skills and want to see a pro do it. I consider al a true pro. I play guitars, make videos and tinker with cars, the comparison of us vs them doesn’t make any sense, there is no versus. especially considering we helped them get setup and find the style and pace to make it work why would we set it up as competition, it’s completely different and I think complimentary.

I love it, brilliant show. I too have never commented on a YouTube video where I wasn’t responding to someone and on my own videos.

Get two same model cars, one of which is a full drag monster, the other, the factory stock (bonus points for damaged / old POS and no motor)

present old banger, tell them you want to make it into a full drag monster, maybe mock up rendered drawing of the actual drag car to show, spend 5 mins explaining what you are going to do as you wheel it onto the hoist and lift it up, start removing front wheel as Woody suggests it's too hot, so have a lemon squash, cut to scene opening the esky, opening and drinking, then Al lifting the drag cars front runner up and onto the car and say, well, that was bloody hard work.. what shall we build next...........

Actually, what you should do is insure the Bedford as a priceless artifact because it's Internet Famous, take it out to the bush you go dirt bike riding in, burn it to the ground and use the insurance payout to do the exact project I want you to do, exactly the way I want you to do it and you're not allowed to do anything I wouldn't want you to do.

Bedford build is dragging on, but I thought that was the point? It's an oddball car that nothing fits in, and the customer wants functionality at the end of the job. Versus an RB swap into an S13 which can be done with 99% factory parts. I thoroughly enjoy the build where everything has to be thought out and then hours of labour put into it. Anyone complaining about this would also be the same scumbag who inspects a car, and says "this is exactly what I want" followed by "will you take 50% of our agreed price for no reason?"

Don't change a thing, Al. As others have said, it's good to see just how much of a headfuck something like this conversion actually is, and it makes you appreciate what a pro can do. You cannot (and will not) please everyone, all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished, and marvelling at the insanity of it.

Yep, every episode of Bedford I find enjoyable to watch. Even from a sadistic perspective. The shear headfuck that this car is makes it an edge of your seat thriller.

My nopics actually stopped mucking around with her phone and watched the last Skid Factory ep when I had it on the TV. She knows next to zero about cars and found it interesting due to the level of detail the guys go into.

Don't change it, leave it as is. Flows well enough to be entertaining with enough detail to keep the interest up.

People that complain about shit they get for free on the internet. Fuck me. Top work lads. Its great to get a sense of all the details and snags that have to be overcome. Shit like this just doesn't happen over a weekend as anyone who has had a crack themselves has no doubt learnt the hard way. And this particular project from the outset was going to be a particular kent. Its great to see how you have pulled it all together and overcome all the challenges as that's where I think the magic is, rather than just fast forward to finished project.
