Barra into Bedford is like when I dropped the 1UZ to the old Crown, except a couple of orders of magnitude more complex. An oddball conversion where every single system has to be upgraded.

Cant imagine there are may easy found upgrades for a bedford, sure as shit Al has stuck a wide variety of engines in various holes that they dont belong into. The bedford would be unique , as its not exactly lets fab a few mounts a bit of wiring and she is good to go, perhaps some we are going to do XYZ with some bennyhill music playing in the background, stop it and point out any issues or a simple lemon squash time

I’m on the don’t change bandwagon. Moving to flash production and full builds over one episode would lose the whole enjoyment of the skid factory, not to mention all of the useful tips on products like fittings, tooling, welding, guest appearances etc etc.

We live in an age of instant gratification. The channel caters to those who understand that a project car isn't built overnight, and to the one that complain, they may soon hopefully realise that as well.

You're on the right track. My Dad doesn't watch MCM but frequently when I pop over I'll find him glued to the computer watching Skid Factory videos. You've got it on point. Change nothing.
