There seems to be lots of conflicting info on dyno results also. Lots of results using hub dynos or weird calculations to get to the engine bhp number.

Here’s a question for you, if drivetrain loss is 15%. Where does a 1000hp car shed that extra 75hp over a 500hp car?

On a side note, bloody Mitsubishi and all their different tricky diffs.
Should have read the whole post before replying - I read that as 'they ran proper mechanical diffs' and missed the keyword of 'center'.
So yes, you're right and I need to read properly.

So if there where two V12s purchased back in the day i take it the other one will be receiving ITB's and Naaw's and fitted into an AU wags in a future build?

Didn't the other one die in Clayto's Merc 190 V12 turbo swap?

I had a feel good/made me laugh Skid Factory moment yesterday. Driving home in the Nova after dropping my daughter at AFL training and was just coming past the local school. Bloke in hi vis walking in the gate saw the car and gave me a bit of a thumbs up, then did a double take and obviously realised he had seen the car before, throws a big double shaka and yells out "yeh man SKID FACTOOORRRYYYYY!!!!!"

Bill gets a fair bit of that in the Bimmer. Randoms asking if he can pop the bonnet, as they've seen it on SF.

First time it's happened to me and the dude was so fucking excited I couldn't help but be excited too so dropped it in to 2nd and did a slightly liquid assisted rolling skid (I'm so going to break shit but can't help myself).

The "bronze" cam shims is probably a titanium nitride coating. Apologies if this has been mentioned in the comments section.

The shart happens when I do it around a corner and the back comes around rapidly and you have to try and catch it with sloppy 53yr old manual steering that is 6 turns lock to lock. :rotflol: I've got the hang of it now but the first time I did it (and nearly looped it) there was a definite touching cloth moment. Hopefully more predictable very soon once it can spin both wheels.

Yes, the spin should happen a lot faster lol.
                      This is serious mum!

Exactly what I thought last week when I was watching the first one.

I saw Ben yesterday towing the Cresta past my shop, didn't even wave back. Too good for me now that he's famous.

I had a good chuckle at that because I'd done exactly the same thing many moons ago when I did the EFI conversion on my Celica. Except I used green wire because that's what I had on hand at the time. :rotflol:

In my defence the car actually ran like that. It was just a bit challenging to diagnose any problems.
