We actually gave Bjorn the car cause he totally fell in love with it, we would have had to pay to scrap/transport it anyway so rather it lived on. It had a semi-rooted cam sensor which is why we got such a slow 0-100 time. It came good every now and then but we weren’t able to get a new one unfortunately. It’s since been fixed and goes hard.
That’s what I was thinking. Would need a local “fixer” on the ground.

I really want to do the road trip - but the one way money for a car to get from Milan to Vienna is billshit.

      You're overthinking it.

      Milan-Vienna-Munich-Stuttgart-Switzerland-Milan.

Europe is smaller than you think. We did Cologne-Nurburgring-Colmar-Switzerland-Austria and back again in less than a week with no particular haste.

Do multiple quotes, I am hiring an e class for a week for not much more than 1500 with a one way drop off. Again, very easy and fast driving around Europe. Nothing like Australia.

          Arrive Friday 6th Milan

          Monza GP 7th and 8th

          Monday 9th start drive

          Milan-Switzerland-Litchenstein-Austria-Slovakia

          Trencin, Slovakia 14th-21st for event.

          Potentially hungover Sunday 22nd

Supposed to fly out of Vienna on 23rd (2.5hrs from Trencin)

its 1000km from Trencin to Milan. Would need more than a day to do that.

11 hours, 1066km apparently. Soft! I’ve done 1100km in a day in a Valiant with an effective top speed of 85km/hr.

Fair call. That is a tight schedule.

Just rewatched Turbos and TUV with the kids, and noticed a huge amount of moire on the black interior shots. Is anyone else getting it:

Posted it on the FB group and a few others said the same thing.

HDR is turned off on the ATV, so I doubt its that. Wondering if it was a setting on that GoPro as it doesnt appear in the later interior shots. Something funky with ProRes422 perhaps?

Yeah I got that too. On both phone and TV.

Yes, I noticed it too. Not every shot, so maybe only related to one camera.

Didn't lower viewing pleasure though, so no biggie.
I'm not straight outta Compton, I'm straight out the trailer.

Maybe it was when the UV light was on and showing up all the jizz.

Loved that episode too. Myself and the family did alot of the Germany / Austria / Switzerland / Italy etc roadtrip last year. It was so good. Although I blame Clarkson for pitching a trouser tent over the Stelvio pass about 10 years ago. Was probably one of the most disappointing driving road I've ever driven on. Narrow, slow, cyclists & buses everywhere and you need to be like a fucking owl trying to look over your shoulder at every turn to check and see if cars are coming the other way, which is hard given the severity of the turns and how built up the side of the turns are - often you can barely see what's coming against you until you are half way around the corner. Fantastic scenery though, the production value of the video was epic.

tbh I was kind of sad they didn't drive the Grossglockner on the way from Bavaria down the Carinthia.

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest skid Factory with the Hoff tuning the Mira/Charade/Pyzar thingy.
Great amount of detail. Well done lads.

Yep was great to see what happens in the mystical world of tunas.....

And also nice if Al to do all the things we as a customer should not do to show us why.....

Oh, and 200+ powers at the front wheel..... Even if it does have a LSD, lane changes will be a mere touch of the throttle.

I only get a chance to watch these videos occasionally, but I watched the Stelvio Pass one because Stelvio Pass.

                                Bravo. It's a fantastic film.
