I’ve been in Brazil this week, specifically São Paulo. This place seems like a great option for an MCM overseas edition. Heaps of interesting models of cars, friendly people and great scenery!

If they ever want to do a Brazilian trip the no pics is Brazilian so can arrange local guides for them, can even arrange a garage for them to mod a car

I keep hoping Al will finish his own car but I get the feeling it won't have an Aussie 5 ltr in it (or it may, + 2 big turbos). But it's a good idea, build your car Al and make it spastic.

I’d say the 5.0 is for an earlier Commodore of some sort judging by the Commodore fuel tank they had in the back of the Charade the other day.

Enjoying seeing something different every project, plus the rundown on the history of the holden V8 was tops.

I remember seeing the 'blueprint' option on the GTS back in the day - funny realising only now it was basically $15k extra for them to actually pay attention while they were building your engine!

I remember seeing the 'blueprint' option on the GTS back in the day - funny realising only now it was basically $15k extra for them to actually pay attention while they were building your engine!

$9,500 and was available from VR onwards but really only advertised to customers from VS onwards when they upped the price to $10,500. Still a lot of cash for an extra ~15-20kw. Wasn't just a blueprint though you did get slightly higher comp. 8.85:1 instead of 8.5:1 from memory and port matched manifolds etc.

Vaguely remember seeing early commo tank..thought maybe it was vk efi or vl tank with solid filler neck whereas vn/s are removable.

Surprised to see them mess with a 304 yet look forward to what happens with it.

A 5L engineis legal for a 1100kg car, shit loads of RWD Jap cars fit that think
