Possibly a little odd ball, but a C20XE Opel motor (used in vectras and shit) has a lot of aftermarket support and Motorsport development too. Pretty sure RWD adaptions are around as used heavily in hillclimb contraptions.

keeps a bit of “heritage” to the motor and it’s actually reasonable looking as well. Was used in the calibra locally (replacement for the Gemini related Piazza) so local supply of consumables would be possible too.

Lots of excellent motor combos out there! first step is diff that can handle some power, hilux seems to be the go-to. Discs would be nice on the back. got a lot of revision to do as my gemini knowledge has been clouded by an innumerable collection of shitboxen

I can probably dig up dxf of the caliper brackets Allan (TRD_MX62) developed to bolt ma70 disc assembly to hilux diff for you.
