I noticed that too, plenty of welding! they did address it at the end obviously. Got a feeling that may have been part of the episode delay.

All you can do is run the cheapest piggyback you can find. Otherwise as I did in my shitbox rolla thread, add an extra fuel injector, water, meth, roll back timing, FMU, etc.

Do enjoy the budget builds. I've often wondered if I could just run the appropriate size injector and e85 to get around the timing issues of low boost turboing an n/a car. Or bigger injectors again and a 2 bar map or bigger maf housing.

Will probably haltech piggy back it with their most basic setup, trying to keep it budget but realistically don't have time to break it 4 times with hacked together stuff and still get an episode out.

Was a big job, manifold just didn't fit RHD properly, would probably work in a corolla (what its meant for) but Yaris bay is smaller so it clashed on everything.

Manifold just involved moving the flange further towards the middle of the car, just cut it up a bit, stuck some schedule40 in it and welded the flange back on. Realistically added one whole day to the build. Big episodes like that aren't possible to do in a week or less, especially including post production time which we both worked on for ages and rushed to get it done. Next ep we'll dyno it.

Probably all up to the fuel pump/dead end system and what it can dribble up to the bigger injectors.
