Whatever happens, it weighs slightly less than my HQ Tonner with the LS2 in it and that's bullshit fun. Throw in the E30 chassis' ability to actually turn and it should be smiles for miles.

I don't know where you would get a proper LSD R200 for less than $1000.

Unless the inference is you can get a diff for $3-400 and then you have to spend the $1200 or so for a LSD centre.

Nonetheless I am enjoying the build and it shows how easy it these days to do engine conversions.

Shims cost about $12. No more peg leg.

Yep, but most, from s chassis were viscous which after 20 years are perfect for single pegging.

Mechanical LSD centres all seem to be around the $1000 mark for a second hand complete diff, depending on ratio, and new centres only can be found for around the $1200 mark last time I was chasing one up.
