      Interesting, you can pick one up for about $300 it seems and there is a mob that makes an emulator so you can swap it in to any car and choose between auto operation for the level of assist (using a speed sensor or ABS sensor) or manual via a potentiometer knob thingy.

              Would this work in my RX7? Would be nice to clean up the bay of the huge pump and hoses.

                Looks ok . $130aud in us of a..plus shipping.

                I guess you need the control box as well
                Spline matchine might be hard. Rather than a 'D' on end of shaft.

                    Good site but my understanding that cut n weld of steering shaft/ components is a no no in aust .

                      yep, better way to go about it is to choose an EPS column that has has a wheel end that suits roughly what you need, then use uni's splined bar for the rack side
