Well that's just it.Originally posted by dnegative View PostIf you did that in F1 you would be banned to oblivion
A lot of concern has now been raised over drivers being allowed to wander onto the track to air their displeasure. Why it's taken this long, I can only put down to 'Murica.Originally posted by brewdlesIn short, some cunt at test and tune had a 250cc honda turning to 11ty and it sounded porn. Do that.

How many Sprintcars have you driven ?Originally posted by turbosurfer View PostYoung bloke dead by doing a stupid act really does he deserve that.IMO no.
I just hope this ruins Stewarts life completely but to be honest I doubt he would really care.
He is just trying to say the right things to stay out of jail but he has sufficient funds to stay
out anyway. No he didnt want to kill him but definately wanted to intimanate him and blew it.

Truth be told F1 had marshals doing silly things like running across the road - Tom Pryce died as a result. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Pryce You'd think that after after that F1 would have seen fit to clean up their rules.
I can't believe how stupid you would have be to run onto a race track regardless of who was at fault - then again, I do remember Longhurst punching on with one of his team mates - Morris was it?

Where driving like this apparently was ok with the governing body...all Kyle Busch got was a one race ban for taking out the series leaderOriginally posted by Mr Evo 7 View PostWell that's just it.

FWIW my friend races sprint cars but only the low powered ones he has been doing it for quite some time he is of the opinion brakes are useless but I guess some drivers may use them, It's sort of similar to drivers that left foot brake and right foot brake. Some guys over in murica would be the type of drivers that use the throttle to accelerate and turn in and back off to wash speed off where as others would probably be comfortable using the brakes to help.

Getting out of a wrecked car to confront another driver is common in almost every series. Wrecked race cars can rarely be driven off the track, and the driver has to get out to find his way back to either the pits or the garage. It creates ample opportunity for angry confrontations.Japanese Nostalgic Car - Dedicated to classic japanese cars

This ^^^^. End of story.Originally posted by VRSenator065 View PostYoung guy gets punted by older guy, so he cracks the shits, gets out of car, starts cracking a spaz pointing running and shouting at old guy as he is coming around. Old guy as he goes past gives it some welly to piss him off more or less in car terms flick him the bird. The kid is closer to the car than he thought or should ever have been, and the car moves more than they both thought. Bang, one guy dead, others guys life ruined, both at fault.Lightning is at my discretion - don't fuck with me

Search on Youtube for the US oval Bowman Grey. There are a bunch of clips of driver punch-ons (mostly stemming from pretty shit driving) its so common they have cops on standby at the pit exit to break up any fights...

There is a difference between having a nanny state and having enough common sense not running things on a martyr based safety system.Originally posted by tut View Postit's sort of ironic that you guys are always complaining about the nanny state, and then be all surprised and outraged other countries don't have laws and regulations regulating everything......
