Well, to be honest doesn't HAVE to be a V8...
- 1M is not a bad idea (had a 135i a couple years ago) which will hold its value, but tough to shell out $80k when used 135s are going for as low as $30k!
- Have also thought about 996 GT3 (996 911 turbo too) but it doesn't feel like something you'd want to put big KMs on
- Definitely want to have a run in a R35 GTR but after driving a couple they don't feel that engaging....

Jesus, an E92 M3 has 414bhp, does 0-160 kph in 9.4 secs and it feels underwhelming to some of you guys? Tough crowd.

Something like a basic tune on a XR6 turbo would completely walk all over the M3 in a straight line.

Not much torque either, at least for the 1600kg odd they weigh.

Just a reminder that when the R8 was released Audi had a day at Lakeside with a pro driver. His lap times were not competitive with a significient number of other road registered cars of the Japanese ilk. And I'm not talking about disguised racing cars either.
