There are no decent modern 2 door manual V8 coupes!?
That is him... will be out looking at M3s tomorrow. Also his is actually 'just' an S5 not a RS5 (has a big exhaust on it though!)
dirtyrex: Thanks for the opportunity, unfortunately too many KMs for me, there are a couple for that price interstate with circa 45K on the clock that'd get me in ahead of that
Well, to be honest doesn't HAVE to be a V8...
- 1M is not a bad idea (had a 135i a couple years ago) which will hold its value, but tough to shell out $80k when used 135s are going for as low as $30k!
- Have also thought about 996 GT3 (996 911 turbo too) but it doesn't feel like something you'd want to put big KMs on
- Definitely want to have a run in a R35 GTR but after driving a couple they don't feel that engaging....
First world problems, I know, but that is why we are on PF
Audi R8!
There is a supercharger kit too for when you need more power
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough horsepower." - Mark Donahue Penske Porsche 917
"In Japan we no give fark for Subaru" - Trust Japan Technical Director
(TM - AVENGE)
"You can never have enough power. I remember when we had Group B cars... THEN we had enough power!"
Juha Kankkunen - Rally of Argentina '02
who knows how good an audi chassis would be in rwd
Lamborghini?
He jerked off with the determination of someone within sight of Everest’s summit, having lost all his friends and Sherpas, having run out of supplemental oxygen, but preferring death to failure.
Just a reminder that when the R8 was released Audi had a day at Lakeside with a pro driver. His lap times were not competitive with a significient number of other road registered cars of the Japanese ilk. And I'm not talking about disguised racing cars either.
