    Personally I don't like the action of mechanical gauges, and the messing around to install them.
    How many places do a pink slip correctly ?
    Most are a quick look at the outside of the car, a quick look at the tyres, check the lights work and do a brake test, and perhaps look at stuff depending on how it drove.
    Hardly any of them would put the car up the hoist and check everything out like they should, let alone finding a mechanic with the headlight alignment machine
