If you can find one, the 3litre Diesels are a rocketship. A 330D wagon would be a hoot - especially with a DPF delete and a tune."Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

Oooh ... don't know if that should be allowed to slide through ... surely we're better-off in drossness terms than we've ever been?Originally posted by Gammaboy View PostProbably more a reflection of the dross in the modern car market than anythingSoft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences.
When buying and selling are controlled by legislation, the first things to be bought and sold are legislators.

Caldina/Legnum/Stagea - not really my thing, and not keen on quite old imports.
V35 - I like the coupe, but really need a sedan moving forward. Bit old now and the ones I saw are suspiciously low mileage. Later models are likely out of my price range?
Found a cheap Skoda last week, but it got sold before I could do anything (it was in SA and I was getting a mate to look at it for me). Going to have a look at some cars next week before my overseas trip and see what feels okay to drive etc.Nathan
