Anyone want to guess what these cams are? Someone was dumping them for hard rubbish and I grabbed them to practice linishing and teaching a mate the basics on the lathe. Old mate who dumped them had quite a few though, I grabbed 10 and there would have been another 10 or more in the pile.

Rubber sway bar bushings. Do they need lube like poly ones?

Manual and install guide doesn't mention it. I've only ever replaced with poly in the past.

Maybe a smear of lithium grease.

Look up hysteresis. It’s the friction drag of elastomers. Use Lube.

Anyone a tinter or know about tint. After an older style tint (kind of purpley) from late 80s and early 90s. Need some for a project.

I thought the kind-of-purpley tint was just the cheap shit that degraded after a year or two in the sun?

I've seen a few which surprisingly haven't bubbled (on LS400, Honda Legend, etc).

It is. I remember my mum's brand new Camry having nice black tint when delivered then within 5 years it started going purple and eventually bubbled on the rear glass.
Sides not as purple and didn't bubble
