If the RS was run on vapours and had a bit more traction on launch there's probably a 13.1 in it, but not much more.
Plenty of tunes getting around now with good 1/4m times and power - im just getting some baselines before i start changing stuff (head gaskets).
Off to the dyno & weigh bridge tomorrow.

Yeah, the Type R looks like some kid spent too much time playing nfs underground on it. Might be a decent car but it's looks aren't going to help it. They're not really, but all they are is base model ecobox with a generic 2l turbo engine, substandard 4WD system and an excellent but slightly flaky gearbox. We all know they'd probably be faster, more reliable and as comfortable as the competition but at least each member of the competition has some point of interest.
Focus RS rides worse, uses more fuel but you can pretend you're driving a rally car. Civic RS is some manga comic gone wrong, and the 140i has RWD and a straight six. The Golf R is what you buy if you want to get to work with pace and minimal fuss. I can guarantee an 11 second quarter in the Golf will be about as exciting as driving down the shops to get milk.
