I've got a MK6 Golf R with a tune, ran a 13.3 1/4. I'll likely buy a new MK7.5 Golf R next, or a C63 is a property deal comes off. As someone said previously, Golf R drivers and RS drivers probably aren't cross shopping. I wouldn't look at the RS, noting wrong with them, just not my thing.

M140i supposedly has less power and does a 12.82 in Manual.

It's at least 100kg lighter though, and has 500Nm. Drag calculators are probably also usually assume a live axle RWD barge, which the 140i is a lot closer to than the Focus.

TlDr - my car is hypothetically quicker than yours.

M140i probably isn't 100kgs lighter. That's with a full tank, no driver, alcantara interior and lighter wheels.
I haven't taken mine down the quarter but I got a 4.7 second 0-100kmh with a fairly soft launch (manual), a high 12 feels about right.

Jalopnik reported Ford in the US are gearing up to fix the head gasket issue:

"Based on this description it seems that, if a customer brings in their Focus RS built between Aug. 3, 2015 and July 6, 2017, they will definitely have their head gasket replaced for free."

Hadn't heard of these until this thread so googled it and found out it is an SUV thing with a turbo 2.7lt V6. Motor could be a good thing for next RS Focus!

Mine is showing up on ETIS as needing the replacement, happy that its getting fixed, not so happy that the motor will get cracked open by a dealer mechanic.
