Don't you have to buy complete replacement front struts as well as the springs to lower the front of a Focus properly? The standard struts die apparently if you just do the springs on their own, at least according to poists on Focus forums I've seen.Originally posted by South View PostWhiteline rear springs, car sits level now... if it settles too much, then I'll take the fronts out of the box. Is that RS specific posts, or normal focus posts?
I cannot see how lowering it 25mm is going to kill the strut, you are only barely moving the travel and you still have the bump stops to limit bottoming out.
On my Wildtrak, a 6mm height adjustment on the shock results in a 20mm lift to the front end. So if its similar for the strut, you are not taking away or moving the travel by a large amount at all.
In other words, I'm not worried at all about mine.
