I know what you mean, nopics wanted either a Mustang or RS until I pointed out 1: I can't afford either, and 2: the kids probably wouldn't fit.

Kids fit in the RS, no worries!
I'm 194cm and my 8yr old who is about 135cm fits behind me, and my 5yr in his seat fits easy as.
So you can't use that excuse

Wanted a Mustang, but not even a sheet of paper would have fit behind me.

Whiteline rear springs, car sits level now... if it settles too much, then I'll take the fronts out of the box. As it sits, fronts can gather dust.
Definitely going to order the DZX spacers now!

                      That looks much better.

With the spacers, are they the same thickness front and rear? I noticed it looks like the RS tyre -> guard spacing is different from the front and rear and depending on the thickness it makes the flushness look a little off.

Watch the YouTube that Ken Block did, you can buy them from a thin width up to a thick width in 2.5mm increments. RS defo looks to have different track widths.

Pumaspeed do a 12.5mm front and rear setup, online pictures show it to be a good combination.

Nice one. When I did the XR5 it was nice and level as they were a bit bum high also.

Don't you have to buy complete replacement front struts as well as the springs to lower the front of a Focus properly? The standard struts die apparently if you just do the springs on their own, at least according to poists on Focus forums I've seen.

Is that RS specific posts, or normal focus posts?

I cannot see how lowering it 25mm is going to kill the strut, you are only barely moving the travel and you still have the bump stops to limit bottoming out.

On my Wildtrak, a 6mm height adjustment on the shock results in a 20mm lift to the front end. So if its similar for the strut, you are not taking away or moving the travel by a large amount at all.

In other words, I'm not worried at all about mine.

Can't find the info now, may of been for ST as I was looking to lower mine and put some 19s on it. Re-reading a few different forum posts other people have just swapped out the springs on ST and RS Focus' and the world hasn't imploded so I guess just do it and see how you go.
