Hahaha! I had to go off road after picking the kids up from school and coming the back way home. Big, doubled wheel tractor was a little wide on a blind corner. Not what you really want when you have had the car less than 24 hours!
Whiteline rear springs, car sits level now... if it settles too much, then I'll take the fronts out of the box. As it sits, fronts can gather dust.
Definitely going to order the DZX spacers now!
Been thinking about lowering the rear of my ST. Did you fit the springs yourself?
Got a quote to supply and fit rear springs (King) from local suspension shop - $550! Seems excessive $$ to me. Does include a 4 wheel alignment though.
Springs are $220 from them, I've seen them for $159 on eBay. Suspension shop reckons the Focus' are set up from the factory with high bum to make them handle good, didn't seem to recommend lowering the rear by itself.
As much as I like the look of it being lowered a bit more at the front the not 20yo anymore me wants practicality these days and be able to clear speed humps and get up my driveway without scraping.
