Keen to see how these will depreciate over the next 6 months.. theyre already at the mid-40s with <10,000kms on them

Nopics wants another hot hatch to replace her XR5 this year.. and im pretty sure Ford will want $40+k for the new Focus ST, which makes the RS a viable option especially now that it wont be a daily / left at a train station each day

Although im still keen to see if she can reach the clutch pedal properly in a VF2 SS haha

You should be able to get a 2018 Limited Edition under 10,000 KM for $45K. Good thing about it is forged wheels with cup 2 tyres, and quaife LSD. The rest of the extras don't really matter.

That seems like awesome value.. i still want to see what the new Focus and Fiesta ST are like when released this year though

I wouldnt be set on the limited edition personally, nopics will likely introduce the rims to a curb at least once or twice.. and the quaife probably wont get a big workout on the way to the shops haha

I was the same. Was keen as for an RS until I drove one and it made me want an i30N instead as I'm hunting for a daily. Way too firm even on the softest settings.

If I were looking for a weekend toy however, I think it'd be an RS and I wouldn't bother looking at anything else for the price you pay for them now.

Too firm, geeez you chaps must be used to air suspension or something.
I daily my RS in the firm setting and the seat is the most comfortable seat I've plonked my bum on.
I also have a dodgy back, but it rides so nice!

So getting closer to sealing the deal on one. MY17 with forged wheels, < 10K mileage. Will need a seat lowering kit as there's no way I'll for in the car with a helmet.

As far as I know the only seat lowering kit is the JCR one which I have. It was around $1000 landed from memory. I have a passenger one i'm not going to use which I'd sell on cheapish if you only wanted to buy the drivers side.
