It was a bit late last night so didn't get more than 10 minutes in ... was thinking of watching it on the TV when next I sit down to watch MCM ... it gets into a proper comparo in a scenario that means the most to real owners, on the road, doesn't it?

I don't think I agree with you there 101 how do you know about the conditions they clearly
remark on the track about wet and dry handling on each car and no doubt they would be
giving dry times as we all know would be quickest.
So what times do you think would be inaccurate I pretty much agree with those times I
just wish they included a Evo 10.

Having only watched the start, the video they had of the on-track stuff looked like it varied from being a little bit damp for some cars to streaming rain for others ... and this would've lead to the track times.
I also thought they were judging on more than JUST the track times, but sometimes people latch onto performance times as the sole indicator of what a car's like to drive (eg. Americans notoriously state "skid pan G figures" as the sole measure of performance).

Hmmm looks like the fact infotainment system will be Sync 2, not the upcoming Sync 3.
That's not good at all.

Ford are moving away from Sync 2 due to terrible customer satisfaction levels.

I hate Sync 2 and would wait for Sync 3

It's different hardware. Sync 2 is Microsoft OS with regular touch screen. Sync 3 is BlackberryOS with capacitive touch screen similar to smart phones.

I haven't received my build date yet so no idea if I'll get Sync 2 or 3. Kind of annoyed at the possibility of ordering a brand new car and it coming with the old system before it even arrives. Seems like there is not much you can do though - they are as rare as hens teeth.
