Can also confirm mine is quicker than a 997 Carrera S in the time honoured traffic light GP, and that 997 Carrera S owners don't like being chopped by Focus's & do the loser flyby

If you call around, you can find them. Perth is probably one of the best to try as the financial slow down has hit the dealers over there, particularly for these type of cars. I am still undecided.

There's a group on Facebook (XR5/ST/RS owners club or something) that has a dealer on there and he's posted a few cancelled orders that are available for delivery relatively soon

Cheers, thanks for the offer. I'll start looking into it - I'm planning on de-86ing at the end of the year anyway so have plenty of time. The main competition, oddly, is a Fiesta ST, but only because I can spend $30k replacing the Mini then.

Pretty much bang on 400k a tank, which works out around 11.5/100km I think. That's hooking over the gateway/KSD every morning.
