I'm assuming it's something to do with all the cardboard boxes. Smells like eastern Europe, the fall of communism and peasants.

Taxi driver the other night, picked me up from work carpark next to the e55: "Is that your e55?" - yes mate - "Cool, I have a c63" - cool - "uncomfortable silence for next 26 minutes"

            :knock:

Pretty much you can guarantee any old bloke at the service station who reckons he knows his Vals will spin the biggest steaming crock of shit. It was endless, the most memorable recently was the guy who's mate used to race an R/T in the late 70s and they got from Canberra to Narooma in an hour. Right-oh! Then they had a drag race with a 350 Monaro and whipped it but then at 160mph the Charger snapped in half. Wow, they normally only ever do that when re-entering the atmosphere!

I took my brother's valiant (68 VE) to the servo and an old bloke told me he had one exactly the same, except it was a 75 model.

Another guy had the exact same car, but it was a holden.

^ Urgh, yep! And if you had the bonnet open, they'd tell you all about your slant 265. And you've got to take the 4bbl off because they actually go better with a 2bbl / or they go better with a 2" exhaust.

I had this. Triple webers, on a 225 with 300hp. "Nah mate, you will get more horsepower with a single holley.."
