Did anyone check out the bronze FC ute that made top ten? Very good mate of mine built it at Downtown Kustoms just down the road from me.

Im baffled, they cleaned up at moterex and were def a favourite for grandchampion. And they basically left summernats with a pat on the back

Moterex judging is significantly different to summernats, for example the car that won motorex, that also won top judged and grand champ at the nats, doesn't compete against the FC at motorex but at the nats they do. The FC ute is amazing don't get me wrong but it has a black undercarriage as a start of why it is not in the league as some of the other cars, the RX3 deserved the accolades it got.

Oh and the judging is completely fucked in the car scene, why is it you can't know the results of what each judge awards you and ask what let you down, what you could improve, where you lost to the guy who won. There should be nothing to hide if everything is legit? All you have to do each year at the nats is look who Owen Webb put near the peoples choice tent to see his master plan for who he wants to win, its a complete farce, I have personally seen the tally from a previous year where a guy didn't win Grand Champion that had the highest points and they changed around scores to make sure someone else won, and it wasn't the first time.

The burnouts need some attention to. For me I like to do a burnout but its starting to get a bit long in the tooth waiting for all the blown meth cars that all sound the same and produce the same amount of smoke do their thing. Would like to see a "street or driven to event" class. I actually email summernats of an idea....but didnt receive even an acknowledgment.

Years gone by they have had drive through skids albeit not for burnout competitors and non this year, wonder why??

Having being called by one of the owners last year for expressing my opinion on another forum I half understand why the event is going to be a music festival mainly with a car show being the side business in the future, the guy was fairly arrogant as well but hey, suppose thats just his persona

Take it up with the Communications Manager Adrian Hodgson who is on PF? They look after the lower element of society as they pay well in ticket and alcohol sales, but then look down on them when they start #bringbacklynchy hashtags and all the other crap that you would expect to come from it.

I wouldnt want his job at all!!!! I couldnt deal with the bogan shit all the time......fuck some of the cooked/munted/drunk spectators did my head in. His post about the redbull seemed to work.....it promoted the event and got people talking about it.

Its a good event for all the shit they cop. I just didnt really like the way the part owner spoke to me but fuck it, it was a long time ago and I still attended.

I dont think many on here are complaining about the people that broke the rules, more the fact that security are all over the shop with what you can and cannot do
