Why don't they just double concrete barrier a section say 100 metres long and they could have security between the barriers creating a buffer zone to control the dickheads who stand on the barriers etc.
Safer for the crowd and the security.

I think people are getting summernats and Powercruise mixed up. Summernats always was and always will be a "party" like festival. Chic Henry used to market it as the horsepower party from memory.

for a short section where drivers can do a drive through burnout.. sounds good to me

Needs to be a happy medium, having the burnout pad open for those that want to do a skid but don't want to get booted or harassed (or cant compete) is a good option.

As an entrant though you don't wanna get booted Friday morning because the last cunt called the security guard a fat coconut.

Adrian is there a reason the 'cruise the burnout track thing didn't include skids this year? Thought it was odd that burnout competitors weren't allowed to to do it even though you couldn't skid lol

Not that I care for burnouts down tuff street but if they wanted to make a nominated come in here do a skid fk off pad. Could they look into something like what they had at Winton?
Pull off the track pull into the skid pad go nuts piss off? Only thing I can see is where to have that located. I dunno how the agreement works with EPIC but they'd obviously need to be able to clean that up at some point?

Double barricading tuff street seems sensible. Could always put fencing either side? Probably get pulled down or something.

I'm pretty sure there were no barriers on tuff st 15 odd years ago. I remember guys cutting loose right up the back in the past during the day, security just told them to tone it down.
Personally I think alot of the issues people are talking about now isn't actually a problem with the event it self, more a reflection of today's society where everyone is just a cunt.
