Although I guess even if you custom rewired, fitted an LS3 and completely different drivetrain, you're still dealing with how to do the interior ...

And no a Rover 3500 doesn't count for this thread, they all died years ago!
But why Forg, Why? Just let sleeping shitboxes lie. And this is from someone who has owned a few Triumphs.

They just looked so swoopy & cool, like the 80's had arrived early - and everyone yearns for the 80's.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

At a shitty unit complex I go past some mornings:
Pink Ford Capri convertible with tri spoke alloys
Excel with supra style rear wing
          Mirage with evo bodykit
          N14 Pulsar with GTiR bonnet.

Spotted two unloved Toyota Tercels nose to tail on a lawn over the weekend.
Forgotten all about them it had been so long since I had seen one.

One of those in our complex too - it does have a SR20DET in it too (and broken gear bag). Owner has a tidy GTI-R as well.

A lot of Lancer Coupes in South Canberra still and half of which have "custom" body kits

Actually, P6 was probably better built than an SD1; less British Leyland management-incompetence-plus-union-shirtiness maelstrom-of-fail.
