    Subaru billet goodness

Doing the final machining & blueprinting on these things, this is the 1st set of the new Willall Racing billet EJ Subaru cases to be built for a private customer, they are #6 off the line (I prepped up #2 as a promo engine a week or so ago).

S&J Automotive are the Aus/NZ distributors for these - I do contract work for them, so I get to play with all the cool Subaru toys before most people.

No more beat to hell mains tunnels, no more dropped sleeves, no more "WTF is gonna break this time" wondering, these suckers are tough.
Extra mains bolts, larger dia outer case bolts, fully dowelled mains, 14mm head studs, better oiling, heaps more metal where it counts & the metal is a bunch better than the cheese Subaru make their blocks out of.

The #1 evaluation engine has gone past 1000hp already with pretty basic heads & stock STI cams (40psi boost on E85).

This one is a bit nicer, 2.7 stroker with Manley billet crank, turbo tuff rods & coated pistons with thick wall pins.
I'm doing heads for it next week, big port job, +1mm supertech valves (Inconel exhausts), Kelford cams & valve train.

I don't even know what that is but I like it.

Awesome. I know it's a 'if you have to ask you can't afford it' deal, but how much for a long block?

        wow. That's fucking insane.

I am guessing that block is an entire years worth of average wage?

I know I don't have an interest in men, but also feel I would be the highest bidder in an auction to suck your sweaty cock.

TK is the engine porn confuser.

I did see that video of one of these donks complete with man-spec driveline doing Ken Block style donuts.

                  Very tough for a Subaru.

Fuck that is some nice engineering. Kinda stuff that just makes your day / feel happy for mankind / hard flaccid.

Yup, that was #1 evaluation engine - Dan Day (Dan Day racing/S&J auto) driving.
                      Was making about 520kw atw.

#2 engine is the SJ1000, going in their new race car (which is a nice bit of kit) & should be up & running within a couple of weeks.

                      This is #6.

That's good bang for buck really.

*waits for billet cases with an extra cylinder either side to appear*

Cheaper than a crate stock R35 donk by a long shot.
