As a matter of fact, one of my brother's friends owns a silver one.

It was always a big joke for them (being Maccas employess) to go out to the carpark and touch up the "stainless" on the car.

Wouldn't mounting a rotary be fairly easy though, seeing as it's still a north south design? Though in this case a South North?

Yeah it has obviously taken a big hit and it wasn't possible to straighten it nicely enough to leave in raw stainless.
