Plus if they have a 15A socket even better.

NRMA Mittagong RSL 50kw charger for the tight arses (me) .

That EVIE unit is a beast though, I got the full 170kw charge there once.

Thanks - yes, it had defaulted to only wanting to use Tesla chargers. With the other charger types added, its plan for Canberra-Liverpool-Canberra is now to top up at Goulburn on the way there, and at the NRMA charger in Mittagong on the way back. That's better already (and again, not taking into account plugging in at my parents' place).

I didn't know about it, but that's not really useful to me - much easier to get to Broadway than Seven Hills if I need to fast charge from Liverpool.

just so you know Marco after a few months of driving it you wont even think twice about it, you'll just jump in and work it out on the way.

Tesla could just introduce an emergency tow to charge mode

it can already be done, but there could be a setting

Flat tow to regen to get some range to get you to a charger

                  ..........

^ yup - maximum regen is upto 85kwh so skull dragging the car for 15 minutes would give plenty of juice. Might be a bit tough on the tow car though!

I built one before I got the vehicle, now that I have one, I can't see a reason to ever use it.

The car just tells you to slow down if you aren't going to make your destination.

                      Too easy.

I’m too lazy to find the video but they did it behind a pick up

used 1 gal of gas and then drove the Tesla

Six exciting new electric cars arriving in Australia this year, all small SUVs.

                            Conveyor belt might work!

They will need to remove them from all of the runways

Gotta give the punters what they want.

I like SUVs but there's no way i'd want an electric one with the current battery tech ($$$$$), super efficient vehicles like the model 3 is where it's at.

After Tesla get the new larger tabless cells with new chems and the price has dropped another 50%, yeah sure.

Probably a dumb question, but can these things tow ? As in a trailer boat or caravan ?

I think for many people that would be something that removes any barrier towards looking at one...
