Probably less likely to catch fire now.

                Rimac time

Not much in it to 330'. Physics of the street tyres on both cars.

Stretch the video out, more watch time, equal more sweet sweet YouTube dollars.

Brooks is killing it with his channel, and some pretty smart low-cost marketing from Rimac using Youtube instead of traditional auto journalism

No longer exists. For example, Rory Read is banned from some manufacturers because of his honest opinion. Now days it's expected you say it's awesome, whereas on YouTube you can say almost what ever you like

… and unlike print magazines of old, which took money & a target-market & employable writers before they could arrive on the shelves, you’re mired in 18 billionty other videos on the same topic … 17.99999999 billionty of which are just outright shit.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

In the same conditions the Rimac is at least 6 tenths faster in the quarter. As you would expect being a hypercar. They should throw on a set of DR's and really show what it can do

                            Yeah surprised at that

you could hear the rimac spinning all the way

what other hyper car is running PS4S

man my regular car runs on 4S

seems to have the grunt, could offer optional track rubber and really set a crazy record

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere on PF, but the Porsche Mission R concept apparently previews the next Cayman to some extent, which is purported to be electric:

The proportions are maybe a little bit odd with the very short bonnet/windscreen a long way forward, but that's a common EV thing and otherwise it looks pretty good.

So in terms of electric sports cars that we know of coming in the next few years, it seems like there's this, and the Lotus/Alpine collaboration, and of course the Tesla Roadster but that seems like it's in another category up at least on price - are there others that I have missed?

Boutique manufacturer Palatov have jumped the boat to all their future cars being EV - D8, D9 & D47 (previous cars were LS, LSA, Turbo LS, Turbo Hayabusa & Hartley V8 powered) https://www.dpcars.net

Westfield in England are doing an EV Porsche 356 Replica https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/n...ectric-kit-car.

Speaking of 356's, Watt Electric Vehicle Co are doing something sort of Porschisch 356 (chassis don't look great to my eyes) https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ele...resented/43894

Caterham have an EV in the works. There has been an EV Factory 5 818 kit car.

AC cars are doing EV Cobras and Aces (don't know if you could really call them AC's) https://www.motoring.com.au/460kw-ac...veiled-130310/ https://www.topgear.com/car-news/ret...-plug-restomod

Swindon Powertrain are selling EV crate engines https://www.carthrottle.com/post/you...v-crate-motor/

High end guys like Lunaz do suck-your-teeth expensive conversions on Rolls Royce/ Bentley/ Jag Xk120 https://lunaz.design https://thedriven.io/2020/08/25/luna...tric-makeover/

Everatti do something similar with Porsche 964 https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-...h-review/44258

GM are selling EV crate engines https://www.thedrive.com/news/37354/...sier-than-ever and wherever GM goes Ford will follow https://www.drive.com.au/news/ford-p...-and-projects/. Mopar are threatening an EV "muscle car" too. And an EV Jeep.

Want vapourware? How about an LA based - Renault 5 Turbo 2 EV restomod https://www.topgear.com/car-news/ret...turbo-restomod

And finally, there are rumours that the next MX5/Miata will be EV.
