That's a bit over half a second quicker than the outright lap record held by an Audi GT3 car. Jenson did an unofficial 1.48.8 in an F1 car.

So proper fast and I'm assuming not a 10/10ths win it or bin it lap.

I’ve never seen a car down Conrod and through the chase so fast. Was so loud you could find by ear where it was on track unlike the GT3 cars.

I doubt it would be win or bin it but there would pressure to set an attention grabbing lap time.

Searching for vids of this, can only find the ones from last 12 hour weekend. Saw nothing on the FTA broadcast. Any clues?

I saw a FB post recently that said this would be $1.8M as a track only, or $2.1M for a road registerable version.

Is that right? There will be road legal versions?

                Awesome if that's true!

Yeah, the price lists at the back of Wheels have shown road going versions for $2.1m for a few months now.

The boys at Brabham said the going rate for a down payment is usually a Macca P1 due for a hybrid change or similar

Yeah, pity it broke in the 2nd race.

I wonder what the issue was.
