    Jaguar art of performance tour

    https://www.jaguar.com.au/experience...tml#642-640542

Bit of a public service announcement.

So I did this in Queensland today at Norwell and thought I would share. Sorry Queenslanders you are too late but other states still have time.

In short, it was about 2.5 hours in which time you take a mix of e pace, f pace, I pace and xf's for a street drive. After that you get 4 laps in each of two cars (I got xe and f type svr) on the track, followed by a hot lap with an instructor (in my case in the svr), then finish up with a motokhana style event in an f type v6.

It's free, you get to flog some v8s on the track. Worth doing.

Iíve done this a couple of times now. I was booked in for Norwell on Thursday but work beckoned.

The Lakeside one is good too. If you can drive theyíll let you have a proper crack.

The Perth one was pretty lame.
No track, just the motorkhana with the fancy gates, and very short street drive.

It was admittedly only a few laps but they weren't shy about letting you give it a go. I did a paid day there years ago and they were much more conservative.

Well ... when the Jags are SUVís, like Pee-Face, youíd expect them to be about 40yrs behind the times.

And even though not attending, ta for the heads-up timtx5!
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Not at all. They didn't try the hard sell once. The briefing mentioned the tech specs of the car and that was it.
