Wreckers, exchange wtf?

I've been trying to find a Gemini gearbox, but every wrecker wants a gearbox in exchange even though my gearbox is beyond repair.
This leads me to think that the gearbox they already have is probably already a stuffed one that they've exchanged!!
It's not like they even recondition gearboxes, they just wreck cars..

It's not even a gemini box though, piazza gearboxes aren't very reconditionable I think. Yea been checking hotgemini but noone in syd with one.

I questioned one of them as to why this is so, he said because it gets exported to Africa and that a gearbox must be attached to the engine whether its busted or not wtf!
Also I could see that the gearbox had half the bolts missing so it has already been removed, maybe exchanged for a crap one.
