Hmmm, I've had a few too many cars as well :D

            '97 - '98 1976 Mazda Capella (wrote it off)
            '98 - '99 1981 Toyota Corolla KE70 (traded on next car)
'99 - '00 1982 Mazda RX7 Series 1 (blew the engine, couldnt afford to fix it)
'00 - now 1977 Ford Falcon XC (originally daily driver, now a very slow project in the making)
            '01 - now 1981 Toyota Corolla KE70 (daily driver)

and for all these cars, ive still got $3500 of a $10k loan to finish paying off

#1 85 charade, piece of crap, numerous dents and shit, one bullet hole in rear door (toowoomba uni freaks), traded in for my current car for $300, i talked to the guy who drove it after me, and the bonnet flipped up at 140km/h and kissed the windscreen.

#2 89 supra, this is a keeper, much engine work planned, cant really make a supra a sleeper can you??

Ive been driving for 7 years and on my 2nd vehicle, had a HQ kingswood for my first car, bench seats back and front, three on the tree, 202 red motor - Dad bought it brand new back in 74 and it has blessed me with a lot of memories.

I greatly accelerated the rusting in the boot due to my permanent placement of an esky in the boot which constantly leaked water from the molten iceduring the summer months. But it was all worth it as my friends (and me when I wasnt driving) were always able to enjoy ice cold beer during the long hot summers. Twas a great car, went anywhere, ultra reliable and could fit six people quite comfortably.

Now im driving a s14 200sx, and despite the obvious improvement in performance, comfort and economy, the lack of boot space, inability to drive over a kerb when needed and the sheer frustration at having to do minor servicing ie changing the oil filter sometimes make me wonder why I upgraded at all. But that gets blown away pretty quickly when I go for a drive through some of the nice mountains we have around Canberra, I have to say though that as far as reliability goes the HQ was the bees knees, I was oh so close to doing a dodgy turbo conversion on it to hehe. I still might do, as I have a turbo just sitting around that was off my old mans backhoe, even if the thing blows up after 5 minutes it would be a good laugh :D
