how often to you "change" your cars?

Ive had my license for about 3 years and am on my 2nd car

Drove my sisters VK for 6 months til i could afford a 1600.

Had intentions of doing that up but my dads car was taking up space in the garage so got sik of waiting plus decided the 1600 had too much rust
so i got rid of that and got my current car which is a 200B SSS with an FJ that ive had for 12 months and wont be selling it any time soon. it owes me too much money.
i would like 120y for a run around though

I know mates that buy cars as wreaks and fix and sell and get double $$ back. One of them has been through 12 cars including WRX, S14, 2 VTiR civic's, GT Starlet, rotaries etc and he is only 19!! (the starlet has over 13g's of work under the bonnet)

I have had a Integra, Datto (200B) and Silvia and that's all I can afford for a looong time

1979 TE Cortina - few months
1983 AE86 4AGE Sprinter - 1 month, friend was selling the car i have now
1983 AE86 4AGTE Sprinter (Current) - I love it ! Still gotta do a few things to it but should have it for a while unless i get hassled by cops alot..

Although im 20, I didnt start driving or buy my first car till I was 18.

1. 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage (2nd Hand)

2. 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer VR-X (New)

3. 2002 Alfa Romeo 147 (New - Current)

Will keep the Alfa untill mid 04 and upgrade once again. Got my heart set on a BMW 325Ci Coupe, but after reading this board more and more I wouldnt mind something with some get up like an 03/04 STI.

Good thing is, I get my 60% NCB in march this year, so it might actually be a possiblity.
