Securing sub boxes.

    Do what I did with the 12" sub box in my RX7..

    Get a bit of wood which just fits in between the wheel arches in the back, and screw it to the bottom of the sub box, right in the middle....the sub box will sit dead centre between the arches, and wont move anywhere :p

      Until you get some force from underneath ie: If you are ever infortunate enough to roll the car.

      I removed my sub and used three 14mm bolts with washers to bolt the sub box through the existing holes in the boot floor.

      I agree do it right the first time. Sounds like you did it right dhs.

        I used aluminium angle... L shaped.. on both sides of it.. screwed into the box and screwed into the floor.. I did it a million times with dodgy little latch's and such and always when cornering would notice weird sound effects.. so finally did it properly and it doesn't move now..
