Unfortunately, you can't always get away from them; you can't always overtake the chain-smoker in front of you in traffic, for example, and you can't always get in front of the smoker who's walking upwind of you (although I usually try). You also can't go certain places ... although, I suppose if you're the sort of person who likes going to nightclubs, you're more likely to be the sort of person who takes up smoking.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Non-smokers really annoy me. They breath in all the smoke that i exhale. Thats my smoke! I payed for that smoke!

        Go get your own.

Coyote, I thought you'd like that. IMHO, 99% of smoking that goes on is about image (or started that way), image is about getting a root, and so is going to a night club; although the comment was supposed to be "tongue in cheek" with a hint of "it's funny because it's true".

i cant wait for them to ban smoking in pubs/clubs. or at least have a seperate area for smokers.
and while they are at, reduce the noise level and add more seating !

                /end personal gripe

                  Frog,

Yeah, I knew what you were getting at and to a certain extent it’s true. I don’t actually go to clubs but I do have friends who go (I used to work in them so I’m well and truly over that scene). Some go to get roots, some cause they like to dance and others just to have a drink. I went out last night to play pool and enjoy the company of some friends. The fact that I’ll often not do that because I don’t want to be subjected to passive smoking makes it a very anti-social practice in my opinion.

Anyway, I’m also critical of anyone who’s getting a root when I’m not.
                  Happy Christmas
